Chase God

In a world where we are told to “chase our dream” and “secure the bag”, a lot of people are trying to figure what’s missing… they seem to have secured everything… but yet they are still not happy… why you may ask? My answer is they have left God out of their life! Having a relationship with God is the most important relationship you can ever have! I mean a healthy relationship with yourself is also important, but that’s another post for another day. God is the Author and Finisher of our lives, He formed us and knew us before we were ever even created, so why wouldn’t you want to have a good/solid relationship with your creator? Just like every relationship you have is different, your relationship with God will look different from everyone else. Why? Because we are created differently and all serve a different purpose in this life! Religion is only the tip of the iceberg… there is so much more to God than religion! God really and truly loves us and wants the best for us, but He cant force us to listen or obey Him, that is the amazing part of free will… we can choose what we want to do, but our choices can either give us life or bring about death (physically and spiritually).

When we actually choose to chase God, He helps us get rid of our destructive thoughts and ways of life and He fills us with His thoughts, which align us and help us create a more peaceful and joyous life for ourselves. I’m not gonna sit here and say it’s easy, cause it’s not! It’s hard to just rid yourself of things you inherited (ways of thinking, habits, culture, and so much more). You just have to keep making the choice each day to Chase God!
